Macross Frontier is one of the most entertaining animes. I like it very much despite it being a Mecha Anime. The Mecha aspect is perfectly fitted into the Macross universe and doesn't stand out to much. The setting is placed in a far away futurea and is highly underlined through its musical elements.
Sewing Rankas casual dress wasn't that hard, but I had to figure out how to make the dress fabric view-blocking. Since the fabric was a little bit thin, I had to use two layers. I just love how big it flies while spining around!
